Audi Q8 Extender and Audi Pre Sense - Important!!!
I purchased a 9-26” black extender for my 2021 Audi SQ8, and it works great. However, a word to the wise for any Audi with the Audi Pre Sense accident avoidance system installed (which I think became standard equipment starting in 2020). You cannot keep the male end of the extender plugged into the female seat belt connector for more than 5-cycles of turning the car on and off. If you do, the Audi Safety Computer throws a malfunction error and disables the accident prevention system. The only solution is to disconnect the extender before 5 on/off cycles so the safety computer senses that the seat belt has been disconnected. Otherwise the safety system thinks you are trying to cheat by not using the seat belt.
