CHOOSING EXTENDERS

Simply select the specific model of your Mark Series, the year and the seat for which the extender is needed. Finally, select your style preference and country.

Our regular extender style is made out of woven seat belt webbing material just like the seat belts in your car. Rigid extenders stand upright, and may have a slight bend to flexibly accommodate a variety of needs. For more information about choosing the best style for your needs, click here. To learn about selecting length, click here.

Each seat in a vehicle may have a different seat belt, and seat belts can change year to year. Please only buy this car seat belt extension for the Lincoln Mark Series of your selected year, seat and country. If you selected "Other," we may contact you for more information.

Not every seat belt extender is available in every style. We will attempt to match your style, length and color preferences as closely as possible. The extender you receive is not guaranteed to fit in any vehicle, but we will always be of assistance with free exchanges and returns for 365 days.

Why does it matter that I have airbag seat belts?

You may find that if you answered "Yes" to the question about whether or not your rear seats have airbag seat belts that purchasing was disabled for the item.

From 2011 and on, the Ford Motor Company has offered airbag seat belts for the second and third row seats as an optional upgrade for several of their models. These airbag seat belts are designed to inflate in the event of an impact and provide additional protection to the riders in these seat locations.

If you are not sure if your Ford vehicle has the airbag upgrade, take a moment to look at your second or third row seats. Do the belts appear to be thicker than the seat belts located in your front seats?

Does the metal tongue design appear similar to the image below?

This unique seat belt design unfortunately does not support a likely fitting extender. Please note, however, that this seat belt feature was optional and your car may not have it. Please note as well that this does not refer to standard airbags built into the chassis of your vehicle.

  2. Crash tested 5 Star Review

This is our third vehicle with the extenders, I have arthritis in my hands and it is difficult to fasten and release the manufacturers' seat belts when there is a console. Had the 6" extenders on an F150, which was in a rollover accident due to black ice. Seat belts held, and thanks to seat belts and airbags we were uninjured.

  3. It woks..but 4 Star Review

I installed one in passenger front seat and when no one is sitting in the seat the airbag "off"light comes on...goes off when someone is in the seat so I'm assuming it is good. Pleased w/ how handy it is to reach so bought 2 passenger rear seat ones...all good and makes a huge difference as the installed ones are so hard to reach.
